Née à Séoul et actuellement installée à Paris, Ju Hee Park est une artiste passionnée par l’art du papier.

Elle a débuté son parcours artistique en Corée du Sud, où elle a étudié les beaux-arts avec une spécialisation en gravure.

En 2003, elle s'installe en France pour approfondir ses compétences et obtient un diplôme en design d’espace. Après ses études, elle travaille pendant de nombreuses années en tant que designer et scénographe au sein d’agences parisiennes de renom, telles que Cent Degrés, 5.5 Designers, Mathieu Lehanneur, Les Sismo, et Eliumstudio.

Forte de cette riche expérience, elle ressent le désir de revenir à ses premières amours : le travail manuel et l'artisanat.

Un hasard étonnant, une commande d'origami géant à Genève lui fait redécouvrir l'art du papier. Séduite par la technicité et les multiples possibilités offertes par cette matière, elle se consacre pleinement à cette nouvelle passion.

Elle trouve dans le papier une source infinie d'inspiration, mêlant ses origines coréennes et son parcours français pour créer des œuvres d'une grande richesse matérielle. Son regard juste et adapté aux besoins de chaque projet enrichit son approche artistique, ajoutant profondeur et sensibilité à ses créations.

Son parcours de designer et scénographe lui confère une compétence unique et une approche professionnelle, particulièrement précieuses pour les projets de grande envergure.

Aujourd’hui, Ju Hee crée ses propres œuvres en papier, alliant finesse, fragilité et poésie. Elle propose également des projets variés sous son regard sensible et poétique pour de grandes marques.

Born in Seoul and currently based in Paris, Ju Hee Park is an artist driven by a deep passion for the art of paper. She began her artistic journey in South Korea, where she studied fine arts with a specialization in printmaking.

In 2003, she moved to France to further develop her skills and earned a degree in spatial design. After completing her studies, she worked for many years as a designer and scenographer within renowned Parisian agencies such as Cent Degrés, 5.5 Designers, Mathieu Lehanneur, Les Sismo, and Eliumstudio.

Drawing on this rich experience, she eventually felt the desire to return to her first love: craftsmanship and hands-on creation.

A remarkable coincidence — a commission for a monumental origami installation in Geneva — led her to rediscover the art of paper. Captivated by the technical precision and the endless possibilities offered by this material, she decided to devote herself fully to this new passion.

​

In paper, she found an inexhaustible source of inspiration, blending her Korean heritage with her French journey to create works of strong material presence and refinement. Her keen sensitivity and ability to adapt to the specific needs of each project enrich her artistic approach, bringing depth and subtlety to her creations.

Her background as a designer and scenographer gives her a distinctive expertise and a highly professional approach, particularly valuable for large-scale projects.

Today, Ju Hee creates her own paper artworks, combining delicacy, fragility, and poetry. She also develops bespoke projects for major brands, guided by her sensitive and poetic vision.
